CARBON FLOATING RING SEALS
Carbon floating ring seals are used, if the application has a circumferential speed (sliding speed) above 40 m/s, normally for turbine and compressor applications. Installation is easy due to split design (dismantling of the shaft is not necessary). Easy replacement due to segmented seal ring design.
